The Twin Pregnancy Journal
Twin pregnancy is a different pregnancy. Your journal should be too.
You bought a pregnancy journal. Every page is designed for one heartbeat, one weight, one name. You have two. You closed it and cried.
More appointments. More monitoring. Higher chance of bed rest. Higher chance of NICU. Nobody's journal prepared you for any of this.
Roughly half of twin pregnancies end in NICU stays. You want to know what to expect, what to ask, what to pack. Not in the moment.
Twelve weeks in bed. Nothing to do. Every activity book assumes toddlers. You want something meaningful for pregnant-you.
Built for the pregnancy nobody explained to you.
Two columns per week. Both babies get separate measurements, names, and photos. Nobody gets left out.
Double the discomfort deserves its own tracker. Notice patterns your OB will want to hear.
More appointments than a singleton pregnancy. This tracks them and captures what each provider said.
Questions to ask the NICU team, what to pack, what to expect the first hour and first week.
Meaningful projects, letters to your babies, memory work, small crafts. Not toddler crafts.
Pairing sounds, meanings, and honor names. Two names that sing together.
Twin-specific registry lists, gift suggestions, and event framework.
Feeding schedules for two, sleep rotations, partner shift systems, sanity preservation.
For the woman carrying two.
- Women pregnant with twins (spontaneous, IVF, or otherwise)
- High-risk pregnancy patients navigating extra monitoring
- Anyone on bed rest looking for something to actually do
- Twin moms preparing partners for NICU possibility
Both babies. Both prepared. Even bed rest.
Both babies get a page
Every week, both heartbeats, both weights, both names, both photos. No twin left out.
NICU ready, just in case
Questions written. Bag packed. Expectations set. Nothing to figure out in a moment you don't want to be figuring anything out.
Bed rest that means something
Twelve weeks of activities that leave you with letters to your babies and memories worth keeping.
The only twin pregnancy journal with NICU prep, bed rest activities, AND side-by-side tracking.
Generic pregnancy journals give you one column and pretend one baby exists. Twin journals on Etsy are usually just doubled versions of a singleton journal. This one is built ground-up for twin pregnancy — with NICU prep, bed rest activities, and the specific high-risk appointments only twin moms have.
Made by a twin mom, reviewed by a maternal-fetal medicine nurse. Educational only — not a substitute for medical care.
Three tiers. Pro is the most chosen.
- Side-by-side weekly tracker
- Twin-specific symptom log
- High-risk appointment tracker
- NICU prep checklist

What twin moms ask before buying.
Is this a substitute for prenatal care?
No. Twin pregnancy is high-risk and requires close prenatal care from your OB and often a maternal-fetal medicine specialist. This journal is a companion — not a substitute for medical care.
Does this work for triplets or higher?
The side-by-side format has two columns — designed for twins. Triplet pregnancies are welcome to use it (many triplet moms have) but you'll need to adapt. Email us and we can send an edited version.
Is the NICU section too scary for early pregnancy?
The NICU section is optional and clearly separated. Many twin moms read it during bed rest to feel prepared. Others save it for later. You choose your timing.
Who made this?
The Helper Hive imprint, with lead authorship by a mom who carried twins to term after bed rest and NICU. Content is reviewed by a certified maternal-fetal medicine nurse.
What if we lose one twin?
Twin loss is real and devastating. The journal includes gentle acknowledgment and space for pregnancy after loss. Please also connect with a therapist and Twinless Twins Support Group International.
